Heimer Insurance Services, Inc.’s home office is in Selma, Texas a suburban community in the northeastern area of San Antonio.  The agency president, Louis Heimer, is a native of San Antonio. As an independent insurance agent, Louis is responsible only to his clients and his Christian business principles.  All of our staff members are dedicated to extreme customer service.  We treat you like we want to be treated with respect and personal attention. 
Our agency specializes in insurance for private individuals, unlike many agencies that consider a homeowner or personal auto or life insurance policy as “beneath them”; we work hard to earn your business and just as hard to keep it for years to come. 
So what does it mean to be an “independent” insurance agent?  It means a lot.  If you are currently working with an agency that can only quote insurance from one company, you may not be receiving the best price or the best insurance policy.  Agents of this type are know as “captive” agents and are treated as virtual employees of the companies they represent.  They are not allowed to sell policies from other companies.  Heimer Insurance, on the other hand, has a large number of companies to work with (look at our “Report a Claim” page to see how many), and the number keeps on growing.  That’s important because not every company is the best one for every home or auto owner.  Some are a better fit.  As a result, their prices are better or their policies cover a wider range of options.  We will find the best match for you and your family.

Louis Heimer
Agency President:  Louis has spent his entire 40-year business career in the San Antonio area.  He believes in integrity and high moral business ethics, and he communicates the need to maintain these same standards to his entire staff.
 

Doug Heimer
Agency Vice President: Doug is always available to discuss your insurance needs.  Before joining the agency, Doug worked with one of the largest insurance companies in the world.  His expertise has proven to be most reassuring to our clients.  Doug is available to help you with everything from home insurance to planning for your financial retirement.
 

Victoria Leal (se hablá español)
Office Manager and Customer Service Representative:  Victoria is often the first person you speak with at the agency.  She is a native of San Antonio and mother of two active children.  As a fully licensed agent she can explain your policy and she will courteously answer any insurance questions you may have, Victoria understands how valuable your time is.
 

Tanya Herlinsky
Customer Service Representative: Tanya is dedicated to helping you find the most affordable quality insurance product.  Early in her career Tanya worked for an agency that could offer only one brand of insurance.  Now, as an independent agent, she is able to quote insurance products from over eighteen different companies!  She can find a product that is a fit for every customer, not just the ones that match a single company’s profile.

Jerry Widell
Underwriting Manager: Jerry has been a business associate of agency founder Louis Heimer for over twenty three years.  Jerry, like the all other members of the agency, is dedicated to extraordinary customer service.   His duty is to be there for you if you ever need assistance with any underwriting issue.

Agency Executive Secretary: Diana, another San Antonio native, completes the family atmosphere of the office and adds balance to the staff.  Her years of experience in office organization help the agency maintain a high degree of efficiency.  She is fluent in Spanish and is always ready to assist our many Spanish-speaking clients.
