boat, RV, motorcycle, and life insurance needs. We will find the
best combination of companies. Sometimes we will place all of
your insurance with the same company; this discount is known as
a companion discount. Other times we will find that placing your
home or renters insurance with one company and your auto with
a different one is the most cost effective way to insure your
family.
Home
& Renters Insurance Discounts: always tell us if you have
an alarm system. Even if it does not alert a service company,
but will alert neighbors, it often qualifies for a discount. If
you have a monitored alarm, let us know if it will also respond
in case of fire. Monitored alarm discounts can only be given with
documented proof from your alarm company. Do you have dead bolts
or fire extinguishers or smoke detectors? Are all family members
non smokers? If you have a metal or tile roof, let us know. If
you have a composition roof that was recently replaced be sure
and tell us. These are all potential sources of discounts.
Other home insurance discounts are granted for being claim free,
or for purchasing a newly constructed home, or even if you are
a new home buyer on an older home. If you have above average credit
you can also expect more discounts.

One of the largest discounts on auto insurance is granted for
currently having auto insurance; in insurance jargon this is called;
proof of prior coverage. This discount is significant, but it
must be verifiable. Other discounts we look for are companion
discounts (see home insurance above), safe driving record, &
claims free discounts. Other discounts include: Home owner discounts,
above average credit score, automatic monthly bank draft instead
of pay by mail, and pay in full discount.
